Custodian & Driver

General Purpose of Job: Maintenance Janitorial & Driver

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

1. Clean and maintain all areas of the Corps. This includes sweeping mopping vacuuming removing trash dusting and cleaning windows. This includes the garage (interior and exterior).
2. Ensure that all Salvation Army Vehicles are clean and fueled. Report and issues both problems and periodic maintenance that may be needed.
3. Daily walk through the building and look for items that might need attention cleaning or repair. Notify the Corps Officers of any of these issues and repair/replace when capable.
4. Drive for various errands and/or needs in daily operations.
5. Assist with seasonal driving needs for programs
6. Maintain grounds of the Corps property including grass areas landscaping and parking lot.
7. Maintain notify when needed and order any janitorial supplies.
8. Any other duties deemed necessary by the Corps Officers.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise volunteers and community service workers when needed.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

1. Must have a current drivers license.
2. Basic knowledge of repairs safe cleaning and building safety.
3. Compliance of keeping to a structured schedule.
4. A willingness to work in a fast paced team atmosphere.
5. Flexibility and patience compassion for people
