Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent

2. Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities

3. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the positions including lifting bending standing and operating custodial equipment

Reports to: Maintenance Director

Job Goal: Maintain a clean safe sanitary and welcoming school environment for students staff and visitors. Perform routine custodial and general duties to support the efficient operation of district facilities and the educational environment.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Cleans and maintains assigned areas including classrooms offices hallways restrooms cafeterias and other school facilities.

2. Sweeps mops vacuums scrubs and maintain floors and other surfaces as needed.

3. Clean and sanitize restrooms drinking fountains fixtures and other high-use areas

4. Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of properly

5. Assist with setting up and cleaning up for school activities meetings and special events

6. Properly use and store custodial supplies chemicals tools and equipment in accordance with established safety procedures

7. Perform other duties as assigned

Salary: Per contract
