Custodian- Crewman II

Job Announcement:

The City of Websters Public Works Department seeks a reliable team player for the position of Custodian- Crewman II. The purpose of this position is to provide cleaning services in City of Webster buildings. Services include but are not limited to cleaning and sanitizing kitchens restrooms offices conference rooms floors and carpets. Other duties include trash removal dusting cleaning windows cleaning stairwells and stocking paper goods soaps and other supplies daily. General work schedules are 5:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional schedule variations for events. Ideal candidates are self-motivated dependable meticulous team players.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of six (6) months commercial custodial experience.

• Valid Texas Class C Drivers License
• Must be capable of safely operating cleaning equipment and utilizing cleaning chemicals in a safe responsible manner.

Special Requirements:

This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with employees and the public. This includes but is not limited to the ability to read instructions write reports understand verbal directions and converse effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

This is an Essential Services position and the employee will be required to provide services in the course and scope of employment for the benefit of the general public during emergency situations that threaten the safety of Websters citizens.
