Job Description
* Applications are accepted electronically ONLY at CU Succeed program enables high school juniors and seniors to take CU Denver courses in their high schools for dual credit during the school day. All applicants into this position are seeking approval as CU Denver Adjunct Faculty members to teach CU Denver courses that are requested by Denver area High Schools.

The posting will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers for the CU Succeed Silver program. Candidates hired from this pool will fill temporary non-tenure track positions and will teach no more than two courses per semester. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50%) and will be made semester-by-semester depending on the needs of Denver area High Schools. Therefore this posting does not necessarily reflect a current open position. This temporary Lecturer recruitment pool is anticipated to remain continuously active.

What you will do:

Instructors will teach courses in High Schools. These instructors are approved by academic departments to offer course content for designated courses.

Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

  • Masters Degree the discipline you are seeking approval or a Masters Degree with at least or 18 credit hours at the graduate level in the discipline.
  • Ability to travel to locations requiring a lecturer

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position has been established at $4002 per 3 credit course per semester.
