Job Summary

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to support our Career and Technical Education (CTE) program at Lincoln High School. The CTE Paraprofessional will work closely with teachers and students to facilitate a dynamic learning environment assist with instructional activities and promote student engagement in various vocational and technical subjects. This full-time position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students educational experiences and career readiness.

Responsibilities
- Assist CTE teachers in the preparation and delivery of instructional materials and lesson plans.
- Support students in hands-on learning activities ensuring a safe and productive environment.
- Provide individualized and small group instruction to reinforce skills and concepts.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding student performance and behavior.
- Help maintain a well-organized classroom and assist with the management of classroom resources and equipment.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement strategies to support diverse learners.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to CTE education.
- Assist in the administration of assessments and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Foster positive relationships with students parents and staff to promote a supportive educational environment.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the overall goals of the CTE program and school community.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting particularly in CTE or vocational programs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students staff and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.
- Proficient in the use of technology and educational software relevant to CTE instruction.
- Knowledge of various career and technical education pathways and industry standards is a plus.
- Patience compassion and a genuine interest in supporting student success and engagement.
- Must pass background checks and any other requirements as mandated by the school district.
- Ability to lift and move educational materials and equipment as necessary.
