We have Contract role CT Tech/Xray Tech for client at Hot Springs SD. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.

Position Details:

CT Tech/Xray Tech- Hot Springs SD

Location : Hot Springs SD 57747

Project Duration : 13 Weeks contract

Salary Range : $50/hr - $55/hr

Shift: 4-10 hours per day M-F

Job Summary:

The CT/X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards as established by radiologist governing and professional bodies.

Essential Functions:

Produce emergent and routine diagnostic images with fixed and portable X-ray

Produce routine and emergent diagnostic images with CT Room.

Able to adjust exposure settings for proper image acquisition.

Adjust patient positioning in order to acquire the best images based on anatomical structures. Adjust table and radiation beam to minimize radiation exposure to maximum patient protection (ALARA).

Process images in PACS for the Radiologist.

Complete exams per Radiologist protocols.

Document charge and process with electronic medical records.

Schedule patients for appointments in X-ray CT MRI US DXA and Holter Monitor.

Inform and assist patients with contrast media administration for CT exams.

Involved with quality control concerning equipment radiation safety and patient safety.

Ensure that exams are completed in timely and correct manner.

Provide Customer Service to patients and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Credential: R.T.(R)(ARRT)

Preferred Experience: 1 year experience working as a CT technologist.
