CT Technologist

CT Technologist needed within the CT Scan department to capture diagnostic images using computerized tomography equipment. Schedule: MondayFriday 3:00 PM11:30 PM 40 hours/week (8x5 or 4x10). Every 4th weekend required no call 13-week assignment.

Department: CT Scan

• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients internal organs and tissues
• Position patients appropriately to scan specific body areas
• Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong X-ray tube life
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
• Correctly interpret doctors written scanning instructions
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine technical quality
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as needed
