CT Technologist

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Under general supervision but not direct supervision provides the necessary top quality images of requested exams for diagnostic purposes and do related work as required will rotate on stand-by and weekend schedule as required for Dept. coverage
• Taking a patient centered approach provide scanning services within professional standards and with excellent customer service.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Position requires stamina transporting patients to/from the hospital bed to the Radiology Department.

• EDUCATION EXPERIENCE TRAINING

  • Current certificate of CRT (R) and ARRT (R) required.
  • Minimum 6 months experience working as CT Technologist or completed CT internship / crossed training at GMC facility.
  • Current BLS (AHA) required.
  • Venipuncture Certification required or within 1 year of hire.
