Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island Florida.This is a Full-Time Weekends opportunity working Saturday-Monday 10:30am-11:00pm.

At Baptist our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services ensure both the comfort and safety of patients and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning providing clear explanations & education about the process and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

CT Technologist Responsibilities:

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience Preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Vocational School
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

If hired must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT within 12 months of hire date.
