Job Description

Summary:
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a busy community hospital environment handling high-volume inpatient outpatient and ER imaging. Facility operates two primary scanners with approximately 40 60 scans daily. First-time travelers are accepted making this a strong opportunity for candidates looking to transition into travel assignments.

Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging procedures for inpatient outpatient and emergency department patients
Conduct abdomen pelvis chest spine musculoskeletal head/neck vascular and trauma imaging studies
Administer and prepare contrast media as needed
Start peripheral IVs for contrast procedures
Support advanced/special procedures including biopsies aspirations coronary CTA brain perfusion drainage arthrography and myelography
Accurately document and manage imaging through PACS systems
Collaborate with radiologists ER teams and hospital staff in a fast-paced acute care setting

Key Requirements:
Minimum 1 year CT Tech experience required
ARRT (R) required
Active BLS certification required
Active NJ Diagnostic Radiography License required at submission
Facility accepts first-time travelers
Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
Must be comfortable in a busy acute care/community hospital setting
Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are NOT accepted

Qualifications

Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Experience:
Minimum 1 year recent CT Tech experience in hospital or acute care setting preferred

License:
ARRT (R)
Active NJ Diagnostic Radiography License
BLS Certification
