Alexandria VA Full-time $28 to $33/hrABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking an experienced Crew Lead to oversee and execute structural installation work on military base construction this role you will lead a dedicated crew in installing Cold Formed Metal (CFM) trusses and metal decking while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled trades leader looking for steady high-impact project YOULL DO- Lead and direct daily job site operations for a team of installers on military base projects.- Install Cold Formed Metal (CFM) trusses and metal decking according to structural plans.- Read and interpret structural drawings and erection plans to ensure precise installation.- Rig loads safely and effectively for crane-assisted erection activities.- Maintain strict adherence to site safety protocols OSHA standards and base access WERE LOOKING FOR- Demonstrated experience installing Cold Formed Metal (CFM) trusses and metal decking.- Proven ability to lead direct and motivate an installation crew on active job sites.- Active OSHA 30 certification.- Valid forklift scissor lift and aerial boom lift certifications.- Possession of a state-issued REAL ID and a valid drivers license.- Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check for military base access.- Willingness and ability to travel for project TO HAVE- Experience rigging loads for crane-assisted erection.- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and erection plans.- Current First Aid and CPR certification.- Fall Arrest AND BENEFITS- Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with overtime opportunities.
