Credit Risk Specialist

Washington Trust is seeking a Credit Risk Specialist to join its Credit Risk Administration team. This position is responsible for supporting the Banks commercial lending operations through loan documentation quality control exception and tickler management flood compliance review vendor oversight appraisal administration and other credit administration Credit Risk Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that commercial loan files are accurate complete compliant with Bank policies and properly documented throughout the lending process. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical organizational and communication skills along with a high level of attention to commercial loan documentation for accuracy completeness and compliance with Bank collateral insurance appraisal title and other due diligence documentation exceptions and assist in resolving outstanding loan files are complete and properly documented before and after loan documentation covenant and exception tickler approved appraisal environmental and other third-party vendor vendor reviews and ongoing monitoring and review flood determinations for commercial loan flood insurance requirements and coverage risk rating records and quality control administration of the Banks approved attorney with additional credit administration projects and reporting as degree in Business Finance Accounting Legal Studies or a related field banking legal or business experience may be considered in lieu of a experience in commercial lending loan operations credit administration legal documentation or a related area is written and verbal communication attention to detail and commitment to organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently and as part of a to establish effective working relationships with loan officers attorneys consultants appraisers and other business with Microsoft Word and with loan systems CRM platforms or other banking software is a plus.A good-faith reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is$50000 - $65000per year. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience skills training certifications and education. This base salary reflects one component of our competitive compensation package.
