Credit Operations Analyst

Position Summary:

TheCredit Operations Analystposition is partoftheCustomer Operations and SupportTeam that managesthe timely receipt of cashfrom its customer basealong with other operational tasks.The individual will report to theCustomer Operations and SupportManagerand willbeaprimary collectorforMarathonsSupply & Tradingportfolioincluding many key accounts with potential forother segments to be added. The role willserve as a backup for otherOperation and Support team membersonan as-needed basisand for cross learning.This analyst willleadthe customer financial statement receipt process as well as entersuchfinancial statement data into Salesforcewith front-line analysis.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Run and reviewthedailydelinquency reportestablish a collection strategy for key accountsworkingwithinternalbusiness partnersand customersto clearoutstandingbalances
• Own portfolio analytics identifying and elevating negative or changing payment trends
• Provide feedback and solutions to long-term delinquency issuesvia root-cause analysis
• Serve as the lead for theOperations and Supportteam
• Advocate for Salesforceusage spreadingthe benefit of casesmanagement
• Dive intothe toughest accountseagerto clearold differences with customersproviding key decisions in terms of high-level cash impact accounts
• Drive/help leadconversations around KPIs assisting with Order-to-Cashdiscussions
• Administer the financial statement collection processwith a point of emphasis of efficiency and optimized receipt process
• Enterfinancial statementdataintoSalesforceincluding front-line analysis
• Shareand help implementefficiency ideasforthe teamwith a results-driven mindset
• Assist withvarious administrative functions such ascustomer callsdocument administrationcheck/wire requests EFT draftsupport etc.
• Respond to customer credit referencerequestsas needed
• Handleinternal and externalaudit requests for the team

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Four (4) years experience in Credit/Accounts Receivable Accounting Finance or related field required or Bachelors degree in Business Finance Accounting or related discipline.
• Shift focus from tactical execution to a more strategic mindset by identifying underlying trends conducting root cause analysis and recommending long-term solutions is preferred.
