Cost Estimator

Location: Houston TX
Employment Type: Full-time Direct Hire
Work Schedule: Hybrid 4 days in office 1 day remote
Salary: $110000$125000 annually
Bonus: 5% discretionary not guaranteed

The Cost Estimator will develop cost estimates and execution plans for large-scale dredging and marine construction projects. This role works closely with project teams and senior leadership and offers opportunities for professional growth and exposure to major infrastructure projects.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for competitive bid projects.
• Review and summarize project plans and specifications.
• Create clear overview drawings for presentations and project discussions.
• Present estimates and project plans to senior management.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to estimate development.
• Collaborate with engineering operations and other support teams.
• Manage multiple project tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Provide estimating support to project managers during construction.
• Monitor project costs production and budgets throughout project execution.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management Business Administration or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience estimating or bidding on large-scale projects including projects valued at $25 million or more.
• Strong analytical organizational communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
