Job Summary

Apples worldwide communications team informs the world about our innovative products and services and the values that drive everything we do. The team includes professionals with backgrounds in public relations journalism social media and are currently seeking a London-based PR Manager for our Corporate Communications team. The successful candidate will lead Apples UK corporate communications focussing primarily on policy and legal matters and based in London.

The role requires a strong understanding of the policy environment and media landscape the ability to translate complex issues into clear messaging and experience working in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will join a nimble team helping Apple navigate communication on a range of policy and legal matters collaborate with the wider PR team as well as GA and Legal colleagues.

Closely tracking key policy and legal developmentsnDefining the approach to Apples corporate comms in the UK nIdentifying key events and media moments nBuilding relationships with editors and reporters

8 years experience in policy communications consultancy media or corporate settingsnExperience working in a UK role handling communications or media relationsnStrong understanding of the UK policy environment preferably tech policy

An established network of UK media contactsnExcellent written and verbal communications skillsnExperience working on high-profile or sensitive issues in a regulatory environmentnCreative and critical thinking abilitiesnMotivated independent worker. Positive team-player attitudenThe ability to work with ambiguity and on complex topics skilled in multi-tasking delivering under tight timelines and adapting quickly to changenAptitude for building formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organizationnUnderstanding internal and external stakeholder requirements expectations and needs
