This role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime regulatory compliance and cost-effective facility operations through strategic vendor management maintenance planning and oversight of critical building successful candidate will provide leadership and accountability for facility operations maintenance programs service contracts and infrastructure performance across multiple locations while driving operational efficiencies and cost optimization ResponsibilitiesVendor & Service Contract ManagementNegotiate manage and oversee third-party vendors specialized technicians and subcontractors including janitorial landscaping roofing pest control and specialized equipment service contractor performance ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and conduct regular vendor performance and manage contract administration to improve service consistency and address performance concerns in a timely scopes of work evaluate vendor proposals and maintain strong vendor relationships across all & Infrastructure ManagementProvide oversight maintenance planning and escalation support for critical building systems including:HVAC systems and environmental controlsFire protection life-safety alarm and security systemsCommercial electrical infrastructure and emergency power systemsPlumbing and backflow prevention systemsElevator systemsRoofing and building structuresWaste management and recycling programsLandscaping and grounds maintenancePest control servicesFinancial Management & Cost OptimizationAnalyze facility maintenance expenditures and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost multi-site purchasing power to negotiate competitive pricing and service agreements with vendors and in the development and management of annual operating maintenance capital repair and infrastructure improvement projects while ensuring fiscal Support & Operational ExcellenceStandardize preventive maintenance programs and best practices across all as the primary escalation point for facility-related emergencies equipment failures and system with local site leadership to communicate and implement facility programs contract changes and operational compliance with all applicable safety environmental and regulatory & ExperienceRequired Experience5-7 years of experience in commercial facility management maintenance operations or a related 3 years of experience managing multi-site or regional facility KnowledgeStrong understanding of: Commercial HVAC systemsElectrical systems and emergency power infrastructureCommercial plumbing systemsFire protection and life-safety systemsBackflow prevention systemsBuilding maintenance and compliance requirementsVendor & Contract ManagementProven experience negotiating service agreements and vendor ability to manage third-party vendor performance and service developing scopes of work and evaluating contractor & Analytical SkillsExperience managing maintenance budgets and capital expenditure financial acumen with the ability to analyze costs and implement cost-containment to identify operational trends inefficiencies and improvement opportunities through data & Performance ManagementExperience developing tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).Ability to use data to drive decision-making and support continuous improvement verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into actionable business communication skills are considered an RequirementsAbility to travel up to 50% across company locations as :Annual: $100000- $110000 (depending on the experience)90% Base Salary (guaranteed compensation) plus 10% Annual Performance Incentive tied to Cost Reduction Budget Optimization Operational Performance Compliance and Key Responsibility -Time positionBenefits Velocity Vehicle Group Offers:Fantastic Culture in an easy-going family-like business401k matchHealth Dental & Vision Insurance HAS & FSAEmployer paid Life InsurancePTOSick LeaveCompany perks such as employee discounts company events and training programsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at be able to pass post offer drug test and physicalThis job description is intended to describe the general nature complexity and level of work to be performed by employees assigned to this position and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities duties and/or skills does not prescribe or restrict the work that may be this does not establish a contract for employment and is subject to change at the discretion of the Vehicle Group is an equal opportunity employer.
