We are seeking a talented attorney to support the rapid growth and evolution of Amazon Ads. You will work directly with your business partners on a broad range of product matters relating to emerging technologies.

Principal duties will include:
- Helping launch innovative new products and services.
- Conducting legal review of program features and customer-facing launch plans.
- Structuring drafting and negotiating commercial agreements ranging from standard commercial contracts to strategic deals.
- Resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships including data use and privacy.
- Handling regulatory contacts and advising on regulatory matters.
- Thinking outside the box!

- 5 years of legal experience
- 5 years of post bar admission legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context such as confidentiality accuracy and bias prevention
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent

- Can distill complex legal issues into clear concise business guidance
- Can use AI for legal research contract analysis or document review experience
- Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
- Experience working cross functionally across several teams
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
