What Youll Do

• Define and articulate the organizations data vision and strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Identify key data initiatives that support digital transformation efforts and drive business value.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of data projects ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
• Develop project plans timelines and resource allocation strategies to manage multiple data initiatives simultaneously.
• Design and implement a robust data operating model that encompasses data governance architecture and management practices.
• Establish processes for data collection storage processing and analysis to ensure data integrity and security.
• Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Communicate data strategy and initiatives effectively to various audiences including executive leadership.
• Develop metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of data initiatives and the overall data strategy.
• Continuously monitor and refine the data strategy based on performance insights and changing business needs.
• Mentor and guide team members in data management best practices and project management methodologies.
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What We Need From You

Required Experience:

• 10 years of experience in data engineering data strategy or digital transformation roles.
• Proven track record leading a major data or digital transformation end-to-end.
• Experience designing data operating models and enterprise data strategies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms preferably Snowflake.

Required Skills:

• Strong data engineering fundamentals with a deep understanding of how data is structured organized modeled and managed.
• AI and machine learning knowledge with the ability to identify use cases guide implementation and embed ML capabilities into business processes.
• Strong program and project management skills with the ability to drive execution across global cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence without authority at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for non-technical audiences.

A Few Things to Know

• This position can either be onsite at the Sunnyvale CA location OR remote. The worker should be U.S. based.
• Snowflake experience preferred.
• Role requires collaboration across global cross-functional teams.
