Corporal

Summary:The Corporal is responsible for assisting the Captain in the oversight of the Commercial Guard department in the protection safeguarding and security of assets personnel customers and all visitors. The Security Officer in Charge upholds the Company Commitment Mission and Core Values of ADC LTD Security Officer in Charge provides guidance and training to all Commercial Security Responsibilities: Update and maintain post schedulesEnsure that Security Officers and Security Officers in charge are properly hired and trained to maintain compliance with post requirementsPerform security patrols to all posts to ensure that all posts are following proper proceduresFollows up on investigations and writes reports on accidents incidents suspicious activities safety and fire hazards and other security related situationsEnsures that all Daily Activity Reports are filled out accurately and signed offUphold ADC LTD NMs Code of Conduct and document and deliver disciplinary action Monitor Security Guards work performance and provide direction and support and training as neededMonitory of deggy system to assure coverage is maintainedPerforms other related duties as assigned by Security Guard SupervisorQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required plus any Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred. Supervisory/Managerial experience preferredMust be at least 21 years of age. Hold and maintain a Level III Security Guard statusGood working knowledge of security operations safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures. Extensive computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and ADPDemonstrated strong English verbal and written communication skillsAbility to understand and follow standard operating proceduresAbility write and investigate required reports Ability to make independent and good judgment decisions utilizing ADC LTD NM and customer policy and procedures Ability to handle sensitive and confidential informationWorking Conditions: Work is performed inside and outside the property with exposure to inclement weather and unpredictable crisis and Weekend Hours requiredBe available via cell phone at all times
