Core Lab Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor (Second Shift) to join our Core Automated Testing team in Indianapolis IN!

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday rotating Tuesday-Saturday 2-10:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise daytoday production and nonproduction laboratory activities

• Ensure quality and accuracy of testing performed by supervised staff

• Assign appropriately trained personnel and manage staffing levels to meet workload demands

• Schedule staff to align with workflow requirements

• Provide direct supervision coaching performance feedback and troubleshooting support

• Oversee nonproduction activities such as validations surveys and quality initiatives

• Monitor performance metrics and ensure timely completion of QC PT and reporting activities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory safety and quality standards

• Support audits inspections client visits and inquiries

• Assist the department manager and act as delegate when needed

• Participate in staff recruitment training development and retention

• Perform testing duties within area of competence as required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree qualifying as a Medical Technologist

• Four or more years of relevant clinical laboratory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASCP MLS or equivalent certification

Additional Job Standards:

• Strong leadership and team supervision skills

• Knowledge of clinical laboratory operations and regulatory requirements

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment

• Strong communication organization and problemsolving skills

• Computer proficiency and ability to work with laboratory information systems

• Laboratory environment

• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous chemicals

• No routine travel required
