Core Cleaner Assistant (PFC)

The core cleaner will be responsible for the cleanliness of machinery to ensure that all material is cut off from the core and prepared for the recycling procedure to be reused. This role involves physical activities and adhering to safety and quality standards.

DESCRIPTION

• Ensure all parameters of Safety Food Safety and Quality are being adhered to and maintained throughout the plant.
• Immediately report to supervisor any incident and unsafe condition.
• Conduct the procedure of cutting the thread off the core using a core cutting machine to clean cores for reuse and remove any residue by hand.
• Ensure bobbins are cleaned in a timely manner to unload the production boxes and organize for the next shift.
• Responsible for the designation of scrap containers and place cores in the appropriate container.
• Conduct a daily production report using labels and weight.
• Comply with all company policies including safety quality and housekeeping standards.
• Perform all tasks with a sense of urgency and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Conduct other duties as assigned by management.

• Familiarity with FSSC 22000:2005 GMPs LOTO and HACCPare preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Sewing knowledge or a related field is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for long periods lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Competence in operating basic tools and measuring devices (e.g. tape measure scale).
• Proficiency in reading writing and speaking English to interpret instructions effectively.
• Ability of repetitive reaching bending pushing pulling kneeling carrying going up and down ladders/steps.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work is performed primarily on the manufacturing floor which may involve exposure to loud noises machinery high temperatures and chemicals.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
