Your Impact
The Copywriter will be responsible for creating editing and proofreading high-quality content for various marketing channels. The Copywriter creates world-class copy that is in the Lowes brand voice with a demonstrated flexibility to write broad brand messages as well as promotional copy.

What You Will Do

• Develops and writes clear persuasive and original content for digital audio print media including social media posts email campaigns and promotional materials.

• Collaborates with designers and other marketing teams to understand the project objectives target audiences and ensuring content aligns with the overall brand strategy and messaging.

• Edits and proofread content to ensure accuracy consistency and adherence to brand guidelines and tone of voice.

• Conducts research on industry trends audience preferences and competitive landscape to inform content creation.

• Optimize content for SEO and other digital marketing best practices.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and content strategies. Presents work to creative directors as part of daily creative review.

• Maintains a consistent brand voice across all content and communication channels.

• Utilizes Microsoft programs Workfront and Figma to make edits proofread and for job workload management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree English or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement if applicable

• 3 Years experience in advertising/marketing as a Copy Editor or Proofreader

• Demonstrated detail-orientation with a bias to accuracy

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including an expert of knowledge of the English language grammar spelling and punctuation
