Job Summary
The Coordinator Family Advancement position exists to coordinate relationships for three major gift officers known as Family Advancement Representatives (FA Reps) who engage individual constituents foundations and corporations. Coordinates and assists with projects event planning data entry reporting research product purchases and measurements resulting in enhanced friendships with constituents through authentic encouragement provides resources for their ministry needs and coordinates relationships with two main groups of constituents: current and Duties/Responsibilities:Pursues utmost detail in the area of constituent relationship and maintenanceGenerates and maintains trip summaries expense reports constituent profile updates and caseload listsCoordinates all aspects of event preparation for FA Reps Donor Events Helps coordinate positive relationships with supportersStays current with Focus programs and maintains currency in terms of personal and professional development through training research and readingCoordinates the discovery maintenance and documentation of new potential donors of the ministryProvides FA Reps with various reportsRelates and communicates with people of all ages ethnic backgrounds and socio-economic levels Other Duties/Responsibilities:May coordinate travel requirements including researching and booking flights hotels and cars for multiple team members and their familyPrepares expense statements after trips verifying that all receipts and allowable expenses are in order and justifies credit card statements each month for multiple team members who travelDrafts correspondence including letters to major donors bios of major donors sent to the senior staff and prepares internal communicationsPerforms research to compile information on donors and potential donors and businesses to discover major gift potentialManages multiple calendars and supports the FA Reps with special projects Maintains constituent accounts in databaseAssists team with fulfillment of benevolent resourcesPerforms other duties as assigned Managerial Breadth/Scope of Job:NoneWorking Environment/Physical Requirements:Office EnvironmentJOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSCharacter/Spiritual:Exemplifies Ephesians 5:1-2 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children and walk in love as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always even to the end of the a consistent witness for Jesus Christ; maintains a courteous Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Focus; adheres to theStandard of Moral ConductandStatement of Faith; upholds Focus on the Familys ministry in prayerPrays personally for Focus on the Familys staff and constituents and may occasionally lead in a public prayerEngages in Christian ministryDemonstrates behaviors aligned withFOF core valuesPersonal Characteristics:Must be a self-starter and able to multi-task; flexible with time management; be able to change tasks as neededEmotionally resilient and capable of handling pressure and rejection without inappropriate disappointment of personal reproachCreates favorable impression in terms of appropriate attire appearance bearing and mannerConvincing persuasive and credible able to impress favorably and win long-term confidence and trustKnowledge/Experience:Bachelors Degree in Business with emphasis in Public Relations Marketing Advancement or Communications preferred but not required1-3 years of directly related experienceProficient in computer programs including Microsoft Word Excel Outlook Adobe Acrobat Publisher and PowerPointIn-depth knowledge of Focus philosophy mission values and objectivesSkills Abilities and Special Talents/Gifts:Excellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent listening skills and exhibit the ability to understand what others are communicatingDetailed and task oriented with good analytical skills in order to extract verify and draw conclusions from dataHighly polished verbal skills; clarity of expression good organization of thoughts and effective articulationAbility to maintain a sense of perspective with humor under pressure and when confronted with shifting prioritiesAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingAbility to work independentlyPay Range: $19.30 to $22.76Application Materials Required: Cover Letter Resume/CV*Colorado Residents: In any materials you submit you may redact or remove any age-identifying information such as age date of birth or dates of school attendance or graduation.
