Job Summary
This position will oversee the daily operations maintenance and event support functions to ensure a safe professional and high-quality environment for all guests staff and community partners.
Essential Functions
1. Oversee daily operations including custodial maintenance technology and event support functions to ensure a safe clean and professional environment.
2. Coordinate operational logistics for facility usage and events including reviewing event requirements attending planning meetings coordinating setup and support staff and ensuring customer needs are met.
3. Provide on-site support during events including troubleshooting audio-visual equipment technology systems Wi-Fi connectivity lighting and other facility-related issues to minimize disruptions.
4. Conduct routine facility inspections to identify operational maintenance safety and technology concerns and coordinate timely corrective action.
5. Coordinate with district departments contractors vendors and service providers regarding repairs preventative maintenance capital improvements facility enhancements and event-related services.
6. Perform limited triage maintenance activities when necessary to maintain facility operations until appropriate maintenance personnel or contractors can respond.
7. Serve as a primary point of contact for facility-related operational issues customer concerns vendors contractors and event support needs.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: At least one year experience coordinating facilities operations event logistics and building maintenance.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs)
- Knowledge of facility operations building systems event support services and preventative maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of safety procedures emergency response protocols and risk management principles related to public facilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues involving audio-visual equipment presentation technology Wi-Fi connectivity lighting systems and other facility technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret event schedules facility calendars setup diagrams and operational instructions.
- Ability to coordinate the work of contractors vendors maintenance personnel and event support staff.
- Ability to identify facility maintenance concerns and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining facility policies procedures and operational standards.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently in fast-paced or time-sensitive situations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with district staff community partners vendors contractors and facility users.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility operations maintenance requests and event support activities.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed to support facility operations and scheduled events and have strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the use of facility scheduling event management and communication systems.
