This position has a base compensation range of $25.00 to $30.00. In addition to this base compensation youll benefit from our competitive health and welfare programs a 401(k)-retirement savings plan opportunities for tuition assistance and incentive compensation for eligible positions. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting truck procurement and functional oversight of drayage operations for North America. Responsible for various tasks associated with truck procurement and operations (rate procurement execution completion and billing) in accordance with Hellmann policies and procedures. The incumbent will interact with regional stations/branches within North America Finance Pricing Sales and other various functions relating to North American drayage addition there is frequent communication

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procurement of truck rates
Day to day operational management of Compcare / VI Visual Intermodal (execution codes carriers users etc.).
Through measurement and analysis of drayage operations identify opportunities for process enhancement and cost reduction. Identify best practices throughout North America for quality control activities. Ensure these practices are communicated and implemented where applicable.
Assist in executing quality control functions (systems and data accuracy) for Compcare / VI (Visual Intermodal).
Assist in vendor Invoice Reconciliation Monitor and assist to ensure KPIs are met.
Vendor KPIs - develop monitor and report (timely workorder completion billing communication etc).
Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not supervise any direct reports.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree (A.A.) from a two-year college preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement
One to two years experience in intermodal/drayage operations or similar preferred
One to three years experience in seafreight operations required
Solid understanding of processes and systems; knowledge and use of Hellogic Outlook and Business Objects a plus.
Experience with compliance related projects desired
Knowledge of trucking operations a plus
Prior experience communicating with truckers a plus

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Systems experience Hellogic Compcare / VI (Visual Intermodal) Business Objects a plus
Ability to simultaneously participate in multiple projects required
Must possess strong analytical skills directed toward complex problems and viable solutions
Must be self-motivated seek opportunities and open to new approaches and ideas
Exceptional communication and cooperative skills required

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) Email and Internet
Proficient in world geography shipping documentation and Incoterms preferred

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as freight rates discounts and other percentages
