NHC Scott is seeking a Part-Time Culinary Specialist who takes pride in preparing appealing nutritious meals and providing excellent service. The Culinary Specialist works with the dietary team to support patient and resident satisfaction while maintaining high standards for food quality and sanitation.

• Prepare meals and menu items according to recipes production sheets portion standards and therapeutic diet requirements.

• Maintain appropriate food temperatures quality presentation and portion control.

• Assist with meal service and ensure special dietary needs are followed as directed.

• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas equipment and food-storage spaces.

• Follow food-safety sanitation infection control and NHC procedures.

• Receive rotate label and store food and supplies appropriately.

• Communicate effectively with dietary leadership and other team members.

• Support a positive dining experience for patients and residents.

• Previous cooking culinary institutional food service or healthcare food service experience is preferred.

• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.

• Ability to follow recipes menus production instructions and therapeutic diet requirements.

• Dependable organized and able to work effectively in a team environment.

• Availability to work scheduled shifts from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. including rotating weekends.
