Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at Baptist Health this role you will be responsible for producing and preparing food for the cafeteria catering chef stations and patient trayline/room service according to menus recipes and portions appropriately adhering to Baptist Health brand culinary standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares food products for patient meals cafeteria and catered functions in accordance with applicable sanitation health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures

• Works as a team member with other personnel to produce quality cost effective nutritious meals for patients visitors employees and catered functions

• Appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss and waste

Requirements:

• Minimum six months experience in large scale food preparation required.

Preferred Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent or higher.

• Formal culinary education.
