The Controls Technician III is responsible for installing maintaining troubleshooting and optimizing industrial control systems and automation equipment. This role ensures reliable operation of PLCs instrumentation sensors and control networks to support safe and efficient production.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Install configure and maintain PLC HMI and SCADA systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical instrumentation and control systems
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on control equipment
- Calibrate and maintain field instruments (pressure flow temperature level)
- Analyze system faults and implement corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement and automation projects
- Read and interpret electrical drawings P&IDs and control schematics
- Work with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations (OSHA)
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and system changes
