What Youll Do
As a Controls Technician you will perform advanced service troubleshooting commissioning and upgrades on commercial building automation systems (BAS).
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex electronic digital and networked control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance system commissioning and software/graphics updates
- Provide onsite customer support ensuring high satisfaction and clear communication
- Assist with job layouts field sketches documentation and asbuilt updates
- Support sales teams with technical insights and fieldbased recommendations
- Train customers on system operation and provide ongoing technical guidance
- Coordinate with project managers subcontractors and internal teams
- Participate in continuous learning to stay current with BAS technologies
Qualifications
- Troubleshooting experience (electro-mechanical systems HVAC experience highly desirable but will consider applicants with other related technical experience)
- Technical degree vocational program completion military or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to read schematics wiring diagrams sequences of operation and technical documentation
- Effective communication skills with both technical and nontechnical customers
- Strong customerservice mindset and professional field presence
- Military training and practical experience highly desired but not required
