What Youll Do

As a Controls Technician you will perform advanced service troubleshooting commissioning and upgrades on commercial building automation systems (BAS).

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair complex electronic digital and networked control systems
• Perform preventive maintenance system commissioning and software/graphics updates
• Provide onsite customer support ensuring high satisfaction and clear communication
• Assist with job layouts field sketches documentation and asbuilt updates
• Support sales teams with technical insights and fieldbased recommendations
• Train customers on system operation and provide ongoing technical guidance
• Coordinate with project managers subcontractors and internal teams
• Participate in continuous learning to stay current with BAS technologies

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting experience (electro-mechanical systems HVAC experience highly desirable but will consider applicants with other related technical experience)
• Technical degree vocational program completion military or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to read schematics wiring diagrams sequences of operation and technical documentation
• Effective communication skills with both technical and nontechnical customers
• Strong customerservice mindset and professional field presence
• Military training and practical experience highly desired but not required
