Controller Senior Accountant

Canton Ohio $120000$140000/year Full-Time Hybrid 3 Days In Office / 2 Days From Home

A Quality Facility Services (AQFS) is growing and were looking for an experienced Controller who can take ownership and play an important role in a growing company.

This is a hands-on opportunity to take ownership bring ideas to the table work directly with leadership and help shape the financial side of a growing company.

Youll take ownership of the companys accounting function and play an important role in supporting the companys continued growth.

• Own the companys day-to-day accounting operations

• Full-cycle accounting including AP AR general ledger and reconciliations

• Do the month-end close and financial reporting process

• Support cash management budgeting and financial planning

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes systems and efficiency

• Provide accurate financial information and insight to leadership

• Take ownership of accounting projects and initiatives

This is a hands-on position. Were looking for someone who is comfortable both thinking strategically and getting into the details.

• 5 years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong full-cycle accounting experience

• Strong Excel and accounting skills

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability

• Able to work independently and take ownership

• Comfortable being the primary internal accounting professional

• Strong communication skills

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or related field preferred

• Public accounting or CPA firm experience is a plus
