Office Manager / Controller (Manufacturing) Chilton WI (On-Site Local Only)
A growing manufacturing company in the Chilton WI area is seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Manager / Controller to oversee and strengthen financial administrative and operational functions. This is a key leadership role working directly with company ownership to support continued growth improve systems and ensure strong financial and operational control.
This position is ideal for a hands-on finance and operations professional who thrives in a small-to-mid-sized manufacturing environment and enjoys building structure improving processes and supporting a growing team.
Location & Schedule
Location: On-site only (must live within 20 miles of Chilton WI: including New Holstein Kiel Brillion Hilbert Stockbridge Sherwood Greenleaf areas)
Schedule: MondayFriday
Preferred: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Alternative: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (some flexibility available)
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Controller Support
Manage and support accounts payable and accounts receivable
Monitor cash flow budgets and financial performance
Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and tracking tools
Support financial decision-making with ownership
Coordinate with external CPA and accounting professionals
Improve accounting processes controls and reporting systems
Office & Administrative Leadership
Oversee daily office operations and administrative workflows
Maintain organized digital and physical records
Coordinate scheduling purchasing and internal communication
Improve efficiency through better systems and processes
Customer & Vendor Coordination
Communicate professionally with customers vendors and partners
Support invoicing purchase orders quotations and follow-ups
Maintain strong service and relationship standards
Operational & Leadership Support
Work directly with ownership to support business operations and growth
Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Assist with hiring onboarding and team coordination
Support special projects and company initiatives
Required Qualifications
710 years (preferred) in office management accounting controller or finance leadership roles
Strong experience with AP/AR budgeting cash flow and financial reporting
Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel/spreadsheets
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills (internal teams customers vendors)
Must live within 20 miles of Chilton WI or be returning to the area independently
Preferred Experience
Manufacturing distribution automotive or buy/sell business environments
Experience working in small-to-mid-sized companies
Background supporting owners or executive leadership directly
Exposure to process improvement systems implementation or ERP tools
Experience supporting hiring or office team development
