Controls Systems Engineer Responsibilities:
Designing/programming PLC/HMI systems
Designing/developing SCADA systems
Automation and Controls design on a range of projects
Developing/Modifying Electrical Network and Software System drawings
Testing automation systems and control panels
Preparing project documentation such as URS FDS and O & M Manuals
Providing technical support and troubleshooting for automation systems
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project integration
Conducting risk assessments and safety audits on automation systems
Training and mentoring junior engineers and technicians
Staying updated with industry trends and new technologies
Managing project timelines and budgets to ensure timely delivery
Qualifications
Requirements for the position:
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in PLC & SCADA application development
Ideally experienced in RSLogix 500/5000 FTView SE Ignition SCADA
Knowledge of industrial communication networks and protocols
Ability to interpret electrical schematic drawings
Relevant 3rd level engineering qualification
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with fluent English
