Job Summary
Primary Function:
Making sales calls and present to Solar and Green Industry Contractors on a regular basis to develop a long-term relationship.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Contractors in the designated area.
- Handle issues between the Contractors and ICCU quickly and in a professional manner.
- Provide meaningful data analysis of market and environment around Solar Lending and other Green Lending industries.
- Report on the success of your Contractors and the efforts you are making to grow business with them.
- Work closely with the buy center to communicate specials and staffing changes that happen at Contractor organizations.
- Research develop and onboard new Contractors
- Maintain Market share and develop reporting and tracking to maintain a solid Solar portfolio.
- Assist other Business Development team members when needed.
- Perform periodic drive-by equipment checks on installed projects by Contractors.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills which include presentation and sales experience 3-5 years with 1-2 year lending experience. Bachelors Degree preferred in marketing or related field. Professional appearance Credit Union service/product knowledge independent self-directed worker. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records. General knowledge of solar roofing and HVAC industry preferred.
Performance Standard:
Professional in appearance attendance quality and quantity of work performed. Knowledge of all Credit Union functions procedures and policies. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
Position Specific Additional Physical Requirements:
- Lifting 70-80 pounds (items include money machine coolers tables and other miscellaneous equipment).
- Extensive local travel this is a driving position and a company vehicle is provided.
- Adequate auto insurance for driving while conducting company business.
- Maintain a valid drivers license.
Physical Requirements:
- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork filing stapling sorting collating typing counting cash etc.).
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper cash drawers marketing material etc.
- Repetitive motion using wrists hands and fingers.
- Reach keyboards.
