Contract Faculty Department of Physics

The Department of Physics at Seton Hall University invites applications to fill a full-time contract teaching position beginning the Fall 2026 semester. A Ph.D. in Physics or related field is required. The candidate is expected to teach all levels of Physics courses. We seek a candidate who demonstrates excellence in teaching lectures and laboratory courses at all levels especially to students of diverse backgrounds.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching lecture and laboratory physics courses at all undergraduate and graduate levels.

A total teaching load 12 credits/semester

Required Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in Physics or related field is required.

Desired Qualifications:

One or more years of teaching experience.

Salary Range:

$49669-$55188

Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt
