Contingency Sustainment Planner
Job Summary
Leidos is seeking a Contingency Sustainment Planner to support the Indo-Pacific Logistics and Sustainment Services (ILS2) contract in Hawaii. This position supports the programs ability to transition from steady-state operations to contingency response across expeditionary and contested environments in the Pacific theater. Job summary: As the Contingency Sustainment Planner you will develop sustainment approaches and requirements supporting continuity of operations under changing mission conditions coordinating with logistics and operational stakeholders to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Success in this role requires strong sustainment planning fundamentals and the ability to align sustainment concepts with mission priorities and operational timelines.
Primary Responsibilities.
- Develop approaches for transition from steady-state operations to contingency response across expeditionary and contested environments.
- Define sustainment requirements supporting continuity of operations under changing mission conditions.
- Coordinate contingency planning with logistics and operational stakeholders.
- Identify risks affecting sustainment and develop mitigation strategies.
- Align sustainment concepts with mission priorities and operational timelines.
- Support crisis action planning activities as needed in response to emergent operations and contingencies.
Basic Qualifications.
- Bachelor degree and 12 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 13 years of prior relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in contingency and/or crisis planning sustainment planning or logistics planning within a DoD federal or defense industry environment.
- Working knowledge of DoD contracting and understanding of FAR DFARS military and government regulations.
- Experience identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies for logistics or sustainment operations.
- Strong problem-solving organizational and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access required prior to start.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with USPACOM subordinate Commands and Pacific/Strategic Partner Nations.
- Masters degree in Logistics Management Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting expeditionary or contested-environment logistics operations.
- Familiarity with DoD sustainment systems interfaces and deployment activities across the Pacific theater.
- PMP Certification
