Construction Site Superintendent

Creative Management Technology is seeking a Construction Site Superintendent for projects involving civil
construction asphalt and concrete installation and repair and maintenance of roadway structures for the Florida
Department of Transportation. This is a hands-on working superintendent position. The superintendent will perform
maintenance and construction tasks alongside field staff to ensure projects are completed on schedule within
budget and in accordance with contracts and plans.

Core Responsibilities

• Crew Management: Direct on-site workers and subcontractors assign daily tasks and monitor labor
• productivity.
• Utility & Civil Operations: Oversee excavation trenching piping installation earthmoving and site grading
• according to project specifications.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA regulations ensure proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• use and conduct daily safety meetings.
• Blueprint & Plan Reading: Interpret civil drawings schematics and utility maps to guide accurate on-site
• execution.
• Resource Coordination: Track materials schedule equipment delivery and manage on-site logistics.
• Budget Management & Progress Reporting: Maintain daily logs report delays or budget impacts to
• project managers and resolve on-site technical issues.

• Four (5) years of experience in civil site construction related to earthwork embankments and sod utilities
• fencing drainage systems and landscaping including large machine mowing minor electrical concrete
• and asphalt.
• Budget management experience is a strong plus
• Must be able to read and interpret construction blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Good computer skills are required.
• Must have good problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75000.00 - $85000.00 per year

Experience:

Four (5) years managing civil construction or maintenance field staff.

Orlando FL: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)
