Construction Quality Control Manager Barksdale LA
$140000 $160000 annually based on experience
Overview
Quality Control Managers plan coordinate and implement project-specific quality control programs on federal construction projects. This is a fully on-site position. Local candidates are preferred; relocation or extended on-site travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Plan coordinate and implement a project-specific quality control program
- Execute QC performance in accordance with contract requirements
- Complete administrative documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture Construction Management Building Construction or Building Science or equivalent combination of education and field experience
- 510 years of experience as a Project Manager Superintendent QC Manager Project Engineer or Construction Manager
- Minimum 2 years of continuous QC Manager experience required
- Current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate (or equivalent)
- Level 1 EMCRP First Aid and OSHA 30-hour certifications (training available if needed)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook and standard internet tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty inspection training licenses or certifications
- LEED AP AP or Green Associate certification
- Experience with Viewpoint/Vista construction software
