| Job Description: | Manage and oversee development planning design and construction projects of all scales and types of projects. Maintain a detailed project budget with incoming funding contracts and potential impacts. Approve and process invoices and pay requests. Approve and process change orders. Participate in contract and fee negotiations. Attend regularly scheduled construction meetings. Manage and report progress of all projects weekly. Develop and oversee project schedule. Work with the Office of the University Architect to determine building site locations which conform with the master plan; develop the project program; advertisement for selections of professionals construction managers and commissioning agents. Present to and manage design reviews and comments from FS EH&S IT Security Committees and other stakeholders from schematic design through bid documents. Review and comment on design packages. Develop design programs schedules and budgets. Coordinate the requirements of UF with the needs of building occupants in the planning and design of new construction and major renovations. Develop and maintain project files. Prepare progress reports. Close-out projects including fiscal closeout required documentation gathering and filing. Train and develop Project Managers II in the project management process. Mentor and provide orientation/training of necessary policies procedures and document flow. Work with the AVP and leadership to develop goals policies procedures standards and divisional goals. Ensure that goals are communicated and achieved. Represent the AVP and/or Leadership in their absence on behalf of PD&C. Other duties as assigned. Valid Class E driver license is required. Criminal background check required. NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work hours and days may vary with assignments and workload. Work hours and days may vary with assignments and workload. May be on-call during adverse weather conditions and available for evening and weekend meetings and events. |
| Expected Salary: | $90000 - $100000 commensurate with education and experience. |
