Construction Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support the planning execution and delivery of renewable energy and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for coordinating project activities managing contractors and vendors monitoring project performance and ensuring projects are completed safely on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing construction projects in the renewable energy utility infrastructure or industrial sectors and will be comfortable collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders including engineering teams contractors regulatory agencies and community representatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support the execution of renewable energy and construction projects from planning through completion.
• Monitor contractor and vendor productivity schedule adherence work quality and safety performance.
• Participate in field inspections site walkdowns and project reviews to validate work execution and constructability.
• Ensure completed work meets design specifications project requirements and quality standards.
• Assist with project budgeting forecasting cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Review contractor invoices and payment applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate activities among engineering construction procurement safety environmental and operations teams.
• Identify track and resolve project risks issues and schedule impacts.
• Support scope management contract administration and change management activities.
• Develop and analyze project performance metrics financial data and operational reports.
• Interface with landowners permitting agencies local governments regulatory organizations and community stakeholders.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular project status updates to leadership and project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management Project Management Land Surveying or a related field.
• 6 years of experience managing construction infrastructure utility industrial or renewable energy projects.
• Experience coordinating contractors subcontractors and vendors throughout project execution.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling budgeting forecasting and project controls.
• Experience evaluating project performance productivity quality and safety metrics.
• Strong organizational communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project Smartsheet or similar project management software.
• Ability to analyze project data and provide recommendations to support project objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification.
• Experience supporting solar wind transmission substation battery storage or other renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of construction management processes field operations and contractor oversight.
• Experience working with permitting agencies local municipalities and regulatory organizations.

Additional Information

• Office-based position with periodic travel to project sites.
• Up to 25% travel required.
