Location: Greater Chicago Area Illinois. This is an on-site leadership position with the flexibility to work from home occasionally as needed.

Note: We are seeking an experienced construction professional with 8 years of industry experience a strong project management background and the ability to oversee budgets schedules teams and financial performance. Concrete construction experience is highly preferred but not required. This position does not offer work visa sponsorship.

Job Description

• Lead complex construction projects from preconstruction and budgeting through successful completion.
• Oversee project schedules safety staffing budgets and overall financial performance.
• Manage project risks contracts change orders and client expectations.
• Guide and mentor project managers engineers and field teams to achieve outstanding results.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on project strategy operational improvements and business growth.
• Build lasting relationships with clients subcontractors and industry partners.
• Support estimating preconstruction planning and project profitability.
• Identify opportunities to improve construction operations efficiency and project delivery.

Qualifications

• 8 years of progressive construction industry experience including project management responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of construction budgets scheduling contracts and financial management.
• Experience leading construction projects and coordinating project teams.
• Background in commercial construction general contracting or related construction disciplines.
• Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelors degree in construction management engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Concrete construction cast-in-place structures and major commercial project experience are highly preferred.
