Field Technician 1 - Construction Materials Testing
St. Louis Missouri Full-Time On-Site / Field-Based
Turner Staffing Group is partnering with our client a leading provider of construction assurance testing and inspection services for civil and commercial construction to find an Entry Level Field Technician I in St. Louis Missouri. This is a great launching point for a versatile career in the architectural engineering and construction (A/E/C) industry with hands-on exposure to construction materials testing geotechnical services environmental engineering and more.
What Youll Do
Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil concrete and other materials) providing assessment of data through reporting.
Utilize drawings specifications and diagrams to guide fieldwork.
Use established methods to make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results.
Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
What You Bring
1 year of construction-related field experience.
Valid drivers license and reliable driving record.
Willingness to work off-shift and overtime as needed.
Ability to lift move push and pull 3050 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally with assistance.
Ability to hear and process detailed information through oral communication including sound discrimination.
Ability to kneel and squat occasionally and to walk/stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working outdoors in adverse weather including hot and cold temperatures.
Ability to climb occasionally and work at various heights.
Nice to Have
High school diploma or equivalent.
ACI Certification.
