A new Bachelor of Science in Construction Management will enroll its first cohort in Fall 2027 further expanding the schools engineering support the continued growth of its engineering programs the School of Computing and Engineering invites applications for the position of Associate Teaching Professor/Associate Professor of Practice and Program Director of Construction Management (Non-Tenure Track). The successful candidate will be a dynamic and innovative educator committed to excellence in teaching student advising and addition to serving as the Program Director for the Construction Management program the candidate will provide leadership in curriculum development assessment strategic planning and continuous program improvement aligned with the standards of the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE). This successful candidate will be expected to engage with local and national construction companies in both horizontal and vertical industries to develop partnerships. The position emphasizes hands-on project-based learning active engagement with students and collaboration with faculty industry partners and university stakeholders to support program growth and accreditation efforts. The anticipated start date for this position is Fall responsibilities include:Foster relationships with industry partners to support student internships experiential learning opportunities and workforce development and update course materials to reflect current industry practices emerging technologies and professional undergraduate courses in Construction Management and related professional engagement with the construction industry and relevant professional and mentor students on academic and career assessment ACCE accreditation and continuous improvement initiatives within the in curriculum development and program enhancement in departmental college and university service a regular teaching load of 24 credits per academic year consistent with expectations for non-tenure track Qualifications:A PhD in Construction Management Construction Engineering Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
