Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze legal issues and prepare briefs motions and legal memoranda
- Draft pleadings contracts and other legal documents
- Manage written discovery document review and case preparation
- Attend and handle court appearances hearings arbitrations and mediations
- Participate in depositions including preparation and defense
- Support settlement negotiations and dispute resolution efforts
- Assist with transactional matters related to construction and commercial projects
- Maintain strong communication with clients opposing counsel and internal teams
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar admission required
- 4 6 years of litigation experience preferably in construction or commercial law
- Strong legal research writing and analytical skills
- Experience handling pleadings motions discovery and case management
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
- Excellent communication organization and professional judgment
