A growing national law firm is seeking a Construction Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing owners developers contractors subcontractors design professionals and other construction industry participants in complex construction-related matters.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active Minnesota bar admission or ability to become admitted in Minnesota
Approximately 3-6 years of construction law experience
Experience with construction contracts project development risk management or construction disputes
Strong drafting analytical negotiation and communication skills
Excellent academic credentials
What Youll Do
Draft review and negotiate construction and design agreements
Advise clients on project development contract administration and risk allocation issues
Assist with construction claims disputes and related litigation matters
Counsel owners developers contractors and design professionals on project-related legal issues
Conduct legal research and prepare client-facing analyses
Work directly with clients and senior attorneys on sophisticated construction matters
