We are seeking a full-cycle accounting professional who can manage both construction project accounting and manufacturing operations finance. This is an on-site role reporting directly to the Controller.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage full-cycle accounting: accounts payable accounts receivable collections and cash management
Prepare and process AIA / progress billing (G702/G703) for construction projects
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
Prepare and post journal entries including accruals adjusting entries and closing entries
Maintain fixed asset schedules including depreciation and amortization
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Maintain and control the trial balance
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
Support job costing and billing milestone tracking at the project level
Assist with cost accounting functions tied to manufacturing operations
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated experience in construction accounting (project-based billing WIP percentage-of-completion)
Hands-on experience with AIA billing (G702/G703) and progress billing procedures
Full-cycle accounting proficiency: AP AR collections reconciliations and general ledger
Experience preparing financial statements and controlling the trial balance
Strong command of accrual-basis accounting and month-end close
Experience with fixed asset schedules depreciation and related journal entries
Proficiency in accounting software (Sage QuickBooks or similar ERP)
Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
PREFERRED (NICE TO HAVE)
Prior experience as a Project Accountant
Manufacturing cost accounting background
WIP schedule management
Bilingual: English / Spanish
CPA or CPA candidate
