HBB Imaging - CT

The CT Technologist will be responsible for providing quality diagnostic imaging for medical interpretation. Duties will include: operating CT equipment handling patients venipuncture post-processing of images patient transport working with electronic medical records and communication with physicians and other services. This position also includes call and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED PLUS Graduate of an approved Radiology program
• New graduate or less than one (1) year of CT experience
• Registry eligible or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• An Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained before the start date.
• CT Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists must be obtained within 12 months of the date of hire
• Ability to Follow Oral Instruction Read and Write

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Radiological Sciences
• 1 or more years of experience as a CT technologist
• Advanced Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

• Operation of CT imaging equipment and post-processing of data
• Handling patients
• Venipuncture
• Use of EPIC
• Call and holiday coverage
• Communicate with patients physicians clinics and other services in the hospital in an effective professional and courteous manner.
• Responsible for maintaining their professional license(s) National Registry and all annual competencies.
• Other duties may be assigned to this position
