Computer Technician

• Perform Tier 1-3 deskside incident resolution of workstations printers and peripheral devices. 
• Managing Active Directory approve systems for reimage/wipe and move to correct system active OU or system deleted OU.
• Ensure proper computer system setup/operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of diagnostic and help desk request tracking tools as well as remote and in-person hands-on help at the desktop level.
• Assist with network hardware servers and software installation troubleshooting and support.
• Assist with asset management and inventory of IT assets.
• Assist with security vulnerability remediation.
• Return failed equipment to good working order and demonstrate the equipment to the user.
• Work as a team member in the installation configuration repair and maintenance of computer equipment peripherals and applications.
• Perform repairs and conduct operational checks and preventive maintenance service on computer systems related systems and office equipment.

• Work with System Administrators to maintain the network.

Qualifications :

7 years experience in a technical support role.  HS diploma or GED.  Must hold one of the following certifications: A Network and/or Security.  Microsoft certification desired.  A college degree may reduce the years of experience required.  Experience installing configuring repairing and maintaining software hardware configurations and peripherals.  Able to isolate equipment/system/software malfunctions and restore failed equipment to good working order.  Experience conducting operational checks and replacing defective parts and assemblies.  Knowledge of networking concepts such as cable making/repair IP address schema and LAN implementation and configuration.  Familiarity with video teleconferencing systems.  Proficient with anti-virus software and configuration.  Solid customer service skills including good communication and the ability to demonstrate professionalism.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI Access (TS/SCI).
