Compounding Technician

Job Summary
We are looking for:
- The Compounding Technician provides operational mechanical process and maintenance support to the Alpharetta Compounding operation.
- This position operates the equipment and maintains the work processes necessary to achieve the units safety quality reliability cost and production goals.
We count on you to:
- Executes compounding programs to support R&I and Commercial material requests.
- Operates compounding extruders and all auxiliary process equipment as required.
- Observes compounding extrusion processes and makes necessary adjustments as needed.
- Provides clear and accurate process documentation and submits samples for testing.
- Ensures all compounding equipment is cleaned and maintained per SOPs.
- Maintains a safe work environment for self and others.
- Participates in all safety audits and attends required safety meetings & training.
- Takes direction from and works closely with front line supervisor.
- Proactively communicates with their Supervisor to ensure optimal work environment.
- Performs other customary tasks and duties as required.
- Overtime (over 40 hrs./work week) and/or alternate shift work may be required.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
You will bring:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates Degree or Technical Certificate/Diploma in related field preferred

The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $68500per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
