Job Summary
Job Title: Component Assembler
Job Duration: 3 Months (TEMP TO HIRE)
Est. Pay Range: $18/hr on w2
Work Type: On Site 3rd Shift (10:00 PM6:10 AM. Expected to resume around Nov 2)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to assemble components using various hand and power tools according to specifications.
Ability to read blueprints and/or standard work instructions.
Performs a variety of functions following prescribed procedures in product assembly and testing.
Assemble components as required on time and according to quality specifications.
Ability to identify improvement areas and effectively communicate ways to implement change.
Maintain the cleanliness of workstation and assist with entire department housekeeping.
High personal standards with regards to productivity quality and safety.
Overtime and weekend hours may be assigned.
Willingness to learn and operate in multiple stations within the department.
Mandatory overtime and weekend hours are frequent and may be assigned as needed
Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments
Exceptional customer service skills and a great teamwork are required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring instruments.
One-year experience in manufacturing assembly.
Solid mechanical background required
