We are currently looking for an Competitive Benchmarking Engineer to join our team in NTCNA-Farmington Hills MI.
A Day in the Life:
The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this may be assigned as needed to support businessobjectives.
Facilitate and lead vehicle and component-level benchmark activities to identify best practices as well as areas of opportunity (cost quality mass technology) on current production and future model vehicles.
Support specific requests from Engineering teams for deep analysis of Nissan and Competitor vehicles.
Track and report output of teardowns and activities
Support and facilitate manufacturing line walks
Who Were Looking for:
Required:
Education requirements: Bachelors degree in engineering
2 3 years of Automotive Design experience; Benchmarking experience is a plus
Strong communication skills; able to conduct presentations to various levels within the company
Project management skills (timing and scheduling)
Demonstrates experience in applying AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies generative AI tools or AI analytics to improve operational efficiency and drive engineering decisions
Skilled with MS PowerPoint and MS Excel for reporting and analysis
